Lamborghini has revealed the 2013 Gallardo and Edizione Tecnica package at Paris 2012 as a stop-gap before the new Gallardo in 2014. What the 2013 Lamborghini Gallardo is is a fill-in between the current Gallardo and an all new model in 2014. So, a bit of a facelift to the range, some new colours and a sexy-sounding Italian add-on – the Edizione Tecnica package – are the order of the day.

Yes, it’s the long-awaited prices for the Hyundai 140 Estate – or the trendy ‘Hyundai i40 Tourer‘ which Hyundai prefers – which is to be the first i40 to hit UK showrooms, ahead of the i40 saloon which we won’t see until early next year. Not surprisingly, Hyundai has undercut both Ford’s Mondeo and Vauxhall’s Insignia with its entry-level i40 Tourer 1.6 GDi Blue Drive which comes in £500 less than the Ford and £1k less than the Vauxhall and offers the lowest BIK in its class. That’ll help.
The interior of the Alfa Giulietta - a nice place
The Giulietta is up against some stiff competition from the sector big boys – the VW Golf and the Ford Focus – and for all the visual appeal Alfas have traditionally had, that’s never been enough. And at first glance the Giulietta – which looks a bit like a MiTo after a course of steroids – doesn’t even tick all the sexy boxes. Instead of flowing lines we look for in an Alfa it’s all a bit blobby.
